Ivan Noble

It was great sadness that I read of Ivan Noble's death yesterday. I like many others didn't know him but read his articles about his brave and ultimately unsuccessful fight against a brain tumour. Ivan had written them for the BBC and they recorded his fight against the disease from diagnosis right through to end. The BBC published his final column last week where he acknowledged the end was near, but the news of his passing so soon afterwards was a blow. His story was that of courage and uncertainty, the fight to live long enough to see his daughters third birthday and the arrival of his son both of which he achieved.

Ivan leaves behind a wife and young son and daughter, Mine like many others thoughts and prayers are with them.
